Project Management: “Strengthening Traditional Activities in the Kaupüna Village – Xingu Indigenous Park (Mato Grosso)”

Three projects were co-managed by Ana Rosa in collaboration with members of the Xepí Institute (MT). These projects were funded by the Casa Fund and aimed to reduce the socioeconomic impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic by strengthening cultural traditions, particularly food production, Mehinaku arts production (beadwork and wood sculptures), and planting more than 2,000 urucum trees to produce urucum paste for use in Mehinaku festivals and rituals in the Xingu region.
