In 2024, we were invited to organize the Responsible Tourism stand project of the Ministry of Tourism, which involved creating a curation and organization proposal, enabling the participation of 17 initiatives spread throughout Brazil to showcase their actions.

The objective of the space was to give even greater visibility to projects that bring responsible tourism to different corners of the country. Among the initiatives present were the Associação do Circuito Turístico das Pedras Preciosas; Braziliando Viagens e Vivências Ltda; Cãomigo; Casa de Paixão Caraíva; Fundação Almerinda Malaquias; Grupo Tauá – Jodali Holding e Participações LTDA; Mova Experiências; Raízes Desenvolvimento Sustentável; Rede Batuc (represented by the Associação Comunitária de Matarandiba – ASCOMA and the Instituto Santa Cruz) and Viajar Verde.

Additionally, our project team attended the event with the Catú and Sibaúma communities, both participants in the Community-Based Tourism project carried out by Sebrae RN and the RN Tourism Secretariat, planned and executed by the Institute. The communities had the opportunity to experience a nationally prominent fair, showcasing the itineraries developed throughout the project, as well as sharing their cultural activities. This is an important phase of Vivejar’s methodology, which encourages and supports initiatives to participate in industry circuits that can bring visibility and open market opportunities.

The event took place in Rio de Janeiro, between the 8th and 11th of August.
